Car is fully HPI clear with no outstanding finance and comes with the full HPI report.

Body:
car was restored by previous owner in 2012.
many panels were replaced including inner sills, outer sills, front and rear valance and wing. At this time the car was resprayed.
there is also a selection of photos that were taken following the restoration that are included in the large history file that comes with the car. the car also has a single wiper conversion but the car comes with the correct mechanism to take this back to standard. The car has a brand new old stock Grille fitted also.

Engine:
The car has a 1800cc twin cam engine which was fitted with twin 45 dcoe webers that runs off a facet red top fuel pump and filter king regulator. It has an Ashley exhaust system and a 4-1 manifold. the car was rolling road tuned in 2012 with a dyno print out showing 135bhp. this was done at a chassis mileage of 134k and the dyno readout is included in the history folder. the car also has a new battery and starter motor.

Brakes, Suspension and tyres:
Over the last few years the car has had new fully adjustable coil overs and camber bolts fitted. Also, the front discs (drilled and grooved) pads, rear shoes, wheel cylinders and wheel bearings were replaced. The car also has had the upper spring seats replaced all round and a new master cyinder fitted. The car was also fully poly bushed. The car also has Pirelli P Slot wheels fitted that have been recently refurbished and include the centre caps and have 4 new tyres fitted that have covered less than 100 miles.

Interior:
The car has a standard red and black interior which is in great condition apart from wear on the drivers side bolster. All of the door cards are original as are the parcel shelf and none have speaker holes cut into them.
the car has a professionally fitted gemini alarm and immobiliser fitted with reciept and handbook.

In my ownership:
In the time i have owned the car i have replaced the float in the carb as it was pinholed, replaced the brake fluid and had the brakes checked, fitted the wheels and tyres, rear badges, side stickers, waist line trim kit, fuel cap, rear lights and rear hatch sticker.
I wanted the car as close as possible to standard.

Every part that i have mentioned that has been replaced has a reciept and there are many more and as mentioned previously, the car has an A4 folder full of other reciepts from over the years. I am unfortunately selling due to loss of storage and i wanted this car to stay dry stored to look after it. The car has been enthusiast owned for many years and the guy that restored it owned it for 7 years. i am a full member of the Mk1 Golf Owners club also.

Any questions or to arrange to come and see the car please call me on 07805534957 as i am not on here very often.
I am based in Bristol and price wise I am looking for £6250 ono as I feel this represents the right value for this car in this condition in this current climate. I have come to this decision after discussions with forum members to achieve a hassle free sale, James.
