Description:I'm putting my MK1 up for sale as I need the cash to buy something else I have my eye on. It's been dry stored and virtually unused last 20 years, it runs very well, currently on 112k miles, 4 owners. MOT with no advisories last 2 years. It's in super rare metallic black. (LP9V) I have VW museum certificate confirming this to be its original factory colour. It's basically campaign spec (but not a campaign) bar the leather wheel, bodywork is excellent and solid everywhere. Interiors good, door cards are a little faded, drivers bolster isn't burst (but showing signs of wear) Unfortunately all history other than what I've done in last 2 years is lost. It's had a timing belt and tensioner, fuel pump, new suspension, tyres, exhaust and a full service recently. I can see it has also had numerous other new bits and pieces fairly recently (prior to my ownership) It was valued at 9k by assessor a couple of years back so I'm thinking it's worth around the 10k mark, based on what I'm seeing online these days anyway.
