Description: Right I know everyone says this but I don't want to part with it, I love it but it's just sat around doing nothing and my MK2 Oettinger is getting all of my attention so I feel it's time it went to someone who will love it as much as I do.

I bought the car last year from a friend, When I got it it was sat on a set of Borbet BS with white centres and I quickly changed them over to my set of OZ turbo's you see here. I'm willing to do a deal without the turbos, I will happily keep them!

Also when I got the car it did have a half cage in it along with two bucket seats. I went to a lot of trouble sourcing a good condition GTi interior, fronts and new seat belts are fitted but the rears are just sat in at the moment. When they did the full rebuild they for some reason cut off the seat fixing points that sit under the rear bench. I was always going to have some made and put back in but as I said my mk2 rebuild took priority and I just never got around to it.

As you can see in the pictures the fuel filler has been moved and now sits behind the rear plate, I like it as it subtle and very well done. The shell underwent a full restoration a few years ago and I've got loads of photos from start to finish. It's pretty sorted and solid all round and no expense has been spared on it. The engine that was in there a 1.6 GTi lump died about a year before I got it and it had a 2ltr TSR engine put in along with a full stainless (will write up full spec at the end)

With a new business venture and 2 dogs and a child I need to find a bigger daily and free up some cash, turns out its hard to fit everything in my lowered TT!

If I start getting silly offers I'll moth ball it and hide it in my lockup along with my 944 project and pull it out in a few years when it's worth a lot more!

Right specs are as follows - 2ltr 8V TSR engine with P&P Head, MK2 golf Brake servo, G60 front brakes, on coilovers but not silly low, poly bushed all round, front and rear strut braces.

Bad Points as everything has them. The bonnet isn't quite level, never bothered me, the Sun roof does open but seems a bit stiff. A couple of stone chips by the front bumper that have been touched in. Rear caliper is a bit stiff but it's booked in next week to have a new one fitted.
