Sooo, I've been pottering away at this for some time now, its almost done but I've pretty much lost all interest/was always going to sell it so figuring what the hell.


1988 Clipper Cabriolet in white. The engine is an AGU from a 1999mk4 golf which had around 100k on it when it was removed. Its running the original 02M 6sp box. EPYtec engine mounts, retrofication drive shafts, Stainless Downpipe by William Skelton, I made the rest of the stainless Exhaust (2.5") with a single silencer and hangers. All of the running gear was removed and blasted/powder coated gloss black so the underside of the car is clean. Its a very clean shell for its age. F600EFJ is the original REG which the glass it etched with all round. The car has what I think is custom done half leather speedline interior. couple of marks on it but its very nice. ECU had the immob off by JamesElooms on facebook who also helped with the wiring along with Phil on here.


The car is a very solid base and runs and moves under its own steam (its never been further than my driveway and back in to the garage)


However


The car is not finished, its still a project and was off the road for a long time before I got my hands on it about three years ago. last MOT was 2010.
