Originally a 1.6GTI currently fitted with 2.0L 8V Engine - dont have much detail on the engine but I was told it is a GTi Engineering engine.

A 1.6 GTI Engine and spare gearbox is included in the sale if anyone wants to restore to original spec

Very solid car as can bee seen from the pictures there is a little surface rust, the worst part is the rear wheel well, which is easliy avaialbe from VW Heritage.

I bought the car from a friend in Jan 2016, he had it for a few years before me and was always been garaged, it was MOT'd in Jan 2016, but never driven, plan was
to restore the car, 31/2 years later I have decided to sell it, so someone who can restore it as i don't really have the time anymore to do it any more, I have a couple of MK2 Gti 16V that I want to concentrate on now.

The car does not really need that much work mainly a paint job, its a solid car, please see pics, solid arches, floor, and panels, no holes, unlike many that have gone through here at similra or higher prices

Engine runs fine starts and drives, rearbox is fine it goes into all gears

Mot has expired, I have not done another MOT as the car has been sitting in the garage since I have had it.
