Full metallic re-spray, new slam panel and rear valence to solve rust problem (common to all MK1s)

Gear box overhaul, new seals, new clutch kit, new rod and linkage bushes, flywheel skimmed, new levers. No gear box crunch. No leaks. All gears feel tight. Done 500 miles since work.

Wax oiled under bodyInterior from late spec convertible.

Clean and no bolster tears.

Poly bushes fitted to front wishbone, anti roll bar and steering rack.

Still have bushes for engine mount and suspension (come with sale of car). Steering is now precise and tight.

Bad stuff;
A) Rust on boot lid and rear left wing (20p size)
B) Difficult to start once warm and left standing for about 30mins. Suspect warm up regulator. Takes about 5 cranks. Then starts and OK there after. Cold start is reliable and starts every time.
