Description:  I'm really gutted as I type this. I REALLY dont want to sell her. So, if any one has somewhere I can park and work on it around Stafford/Cannock area let me know… I cant see that I will get time to finish her though, which is a shame, as you will see in the 'photos.

This car was given to me a few years ago, and started my love of the MK1 golf. even before I did any work on the car, I loved it. Its a 1.8 carb engined auto. I replaced the rubber plug in the inlet manifold and re-built the carb and gave it a good service and got it running really well, but that wasn't enough, so the following year, I took it down to nothing and started on a nuts and bolts rebuild. I have a well documented strip down etc, and had any thing done that needed doing on the body, before having it professionally resprayed the original arctic white. I then started the gradual re-assembly, making sure everything went back together as the factory intended, or better.

The price is for the car, and all of the paper work, I contacted the previous owner in Germany (before the chap that gave it to me) and had all the paper put in my name, and all the tax etc is completely up to date including the original alloy Tarantulas, and a set of BBS (I think there RMs) The car now has leather seats front and back, and a good condition hood. Its not in the 'photos, but it has a wolfsburg steering wheel.

There is'nt that much left to do, and would suit someone that wants something to tinker with, without having to break there back.

Included is also a spare engine and another auto gearbox, plus spare suspension and brake components and rear beam that can be done up before fitting, to save time off road etc.

I also have for sale a media blaster with cabinet and a powder coating machine, with two spare ovens.

There are also a stack of new parts at additional cost, so make me an offer for the lot if you like.

I will list the new parts later, but include two sets of polypropylene bushes, 2 water pumps, comfort cup suspension, Meyle suspension, engine mounts, service parts and a stack of stuff I cant remember of hand.

If you want to import this car to the UK, we can arrange transport for around € 600. But, you need to see the car first. We can arrange a lift to and from Malaga airport if needed.
