GTI cabby breaking, now gone over the weighbridge

I'm keeping the fuel injection parts but theres nothing else I'll need.

Already gone are the seats, carpet, centre console,  all brackets and bits for the electric roof,  steering wheel, grille, and a few trivial bits.

In west Midlands,  near Wolverhampton
I dont mind posting out smaller stuff but anything big will have to be collected.
Panel cuts available apart from the n/s front as it's all mangled.

Hi, is this a manual or electric hood?

If the thin black A pillar trims down the side of the windscreen could be removed without being damaged I’d take them off your hands, I’ve tried those from Werk34 and they are poor so I’m after originals but they need to be unbroken if that’s even possible.

The roof and all the bits relating to it are already gone pal.

Do you still have the alternator, if so, do you know what amperage it is and if it's a bosch or motorola one?

Leave it with me, I'll see if I can find a small tube to put it in first as you can guarantee that it will be broken in the post.

Its a bosch one, I think they are 65a on these but ill have to check., I've got a few alternators so you can take your pick.

a 65A Bosch one is what I'm after. I misplaced mine (it was removed a loooong time ago). I had a 55a one, but it's been stored so long it's seized. Stripped it down and I'm not sure it's salvageable….
Let me know if it's 65a and we can go from there.

No worries,  I'll give you a shout and confirm once it's off the car.
I think earlier cars did have a 55a one but the later cabs with leccy roof and windows had the higher output unit.

No to both,  driver's pillar trim was missing when I got the car, seats have gone.

Not much left now, it'll be going over the weighbridge soon.

That car is long gone,  I'm keeping the fuel injection bits as spares for my 2 cars.

Just wondering if you've got the fuel tank for this and what condition it's in?

It was left in the car when it went to the crusher.
