Youngest Tintop Golf / GTi

I was wondering which tin-top Golf in the Club is the youngest ie. the last manufactured.

My GTi Campaign rolled out of Wolfsburg on 19 August 1983 with chassis number ending ….0679

From what I understand the last tin-top Mk1's were built August September 1983 so mine is pretty close the end.

Anyone have younger/newer?????

My number ends 0873 If they continued in chronological order?
The original owner I bought it off in 1988 said he really struggled to order one, a relative who worked for VAG managed to source him one , not registered until mid October. He said it was one of last few to be made but no idea if that was true.

Doesn't seem that chassis numbers are in sequence?

Mine ends 304 and was manufactured on 16-9-83

EDIT: I'm being a nob, mine's 8304 lol
