Won a trophy at a classic car show

 Went to the M4 Karting Classic & Custom Show on Saturday, the first time it has been held at the Karting venue at Hullavington near Chippenham.
Not bad for a first effort by the organisers.
Each entrant gets a slip to vote for the car of the day ( I voted for a Mercedes SL190)
There was a varied bunch of cars there.
It should have been on for 2 days but they decided to cancel the second day due to the torrential rain forecast for Sunday.

Got an email Saturday night informing me my car was voted as the car of the show!
Never won anything before, well chuffed.
They are posting a trophy and certificate to me.

Wish I had taken some photos of the show now, I misplaced my phone and found it under my seat as we left!

This is the first time I've seen my old car since I built and sold it in 2009, great to see its been really well looked after.

The car is still in the same fantastic condition as you built it.
I don't think it has done more than 6,000 since you sold it.
I have the 100+ photos of your restoration that Phil gave me.
 Phil sold the car to me after his new Focus RS arrived, he wife said he couldn't have 2 toys.
