Wolfsburg Wheel Repair

Post

Recently brought a repair kit

So i have had a wolfsburg wheel for a while now, with the common pins all broken, so been driving around with no horn :ninja:Recently on the Mk1 golf items for sale page on facebook there was a post made about a repair kit from a guy called Vw Retroteile so i thought i would give it a go, the kit contained 4 threaded pins, rubbers and springs.

The plastic part of my horn push before, bit of a mess…

You simply had to cut and sand down the pins so that they were flat, then drill holes for the pins to screw into, heres the result…

Worked a charm, very sturdy and i now have a functioning horn :lol:Highly recommend him, find on facebook if your interested

Awesome……

I love the Horns getting fouled…
Had that on the Beep, Beep.  So I installed Air horns on my Diesel.

On my Cabbies the Horns were pointed up…new 200db Hi-low Alpine sound great and get others attention. pointed down and to the front…

Can never have too loud a horn….

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.
