Which wheels would you have

I took my teledials off for p slots. Stars would suit a cabby more in my mind. However I am not a fan of adapters for wheels so if they are 4 stud then that would sway it for me.

Probably a lower ET/deeper dish than yours, but still gives you an idea… know which ones get my vote!

Can I ask are they a real split rim, if not can the bolts be changed?

Yours are the standard one piece wheel with cosmetic bolts, though there was a very expensive three piece split version made for Zender by Speedline.

Your bolts are probably better described as pegs, they have no thread and will be cemented into plain holes.

It'll be nigh on impossible to remove them without twisting the heads off, which would be a shame as if they're original and you look closely there will be 'Zender' embossed on each and impossible to find now.

I suppose you could drill the holes out, the pegs are light aluminium and thread/fit replacements.

Having said that, on a few specifications ( I don't know which ) the profile of the rim is such that the holes accepting the pegs go completely through, front to rear and can be seen from the back face. It could allow the pegs to be punched out. It's more usual though, that the hole only goes part way through.

If you've got all four center caps with plastic badge, it's a bonus… They can be hard enough to find individually.

There'll be some numbers under the cap, one will probably start with an 8, then a dot and 3 more digits.

I've a few catalogues and it may help get the original spec. and vehicle it was intended for, for you.

The wheel in the picture isn't the wheel I would be using I just downloaded it for illustration. When I get home I will post a picture of the actual wheel and please tell me all you can.

Thanks

Will see what I can find out but sounds like they are  worth the swap for my teledials. I was thinking of maybe putting flat disc centres on rather that the big nut ones that are on and painting the centres a vintage gold so to keep the retro look I have going on. What do you think???

Here we go then. Swapped wheels and this is how they look on the car. They are the ones with the stud holes that finally the way through the wheel.
