Hi all. Swapping out my tired sportline suspension for some bilsten/eibach combos. Looked through the how to guide and defo feels like a job I want to do myself as I have a double garage so will be a winter job and also I want to learn. Can anyone help me with any extras I need the kit comes as pictured but do I need new top mounts front and rear? Also I have been toold the cab has some rubber donought things on the rear which compress over time but as I dont know what they are called so cant find them? Any links?

Anything else have speing compressor. Any tips as to not throw alignment out?

If you are interested, and fine if not,  i have these new/unused corteco front strut mounts. I bought them as it was a make i was unfamiliar with and thought i would try them. Have no idea if good, bad or indifferent, perhaps a member knows. I also have these new/unused rear rubbers, they fit between shocks and the body and are the ones that take the weight of the car. The smaller top ones can mostly be reused..  Can have the lot for £30 plus about £5 postage..

Don't get this kit as the springs shocks etc comes with bump stops and boots.

Just buy the mounts and bush.

you will also need a Allen key and a ring spanner or open sided socket to undo the front mount.

not sure what size you have so double check before buying but I use something like this.

I would also not worry to much about upsetting the camber and tracking as it’s best to get it set up again once it’s all back together as the tracking will go out as it will sit lower than the original set up and no matter how much you mark the camber bolts they will go out as there is some free play before they adjust the camber, worth paying the money to get it set up right unless you have a camber gauge.

Is your sportline kit coilovers or shocks and springs?
