Retro Fit Heated Seats...?

Post

My entire interior will soon be removed, cleaned, fixed and sound proofing added through out.

Question I have, whilst refurbishing the interior would it be possible to add Golf MK3 or 4 heated seats and have the them wired in so they warm your bottom? And if so how difficult is this?

Would have the new/old seats re trimmed to match the original interior keeping the OEM period look.

See a visit to Crazy Quiffs coming on

Thanks,

Birchy

There are heated seat kits available for after market conversions, you can google it.  You can add them to any seat, but you have to loosen the covers.

The kits I have seen include the relays and wiring, as well as rocker switches or roller switches, depending on what or where you order them from.

If I was going to re-do, I wouldn't suspect that the ones in a mk3-4 would be that great…. I suspect it all depends on how deep your pockets are.

just to show you what is avail, and there are some that you can cut and trim…..some you can't.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.
