Mk1 outside this winter

I've recently moved house and unfortunately the new place doesn't have a garage, so can anyone recommend a fantastic car cover or something better as the old girl will be outside this winter? Thanks
 

There was a thread here not too long ago regarding covers, some brands are mentioned as well as some issues encountered… if nothing else, it's good reading material until somebody offers up a suggestion!

I have an eBay cover on mine and it is ok but I am not ultra precious over mine either. The really good ones look to have a frame which creates a shelter rather than a simple cover. If I had a flatish drive I would go for that. £££

Bought a basic cheapish cover as I wanted to leave it outside the garage for a couple of weeks. When I removed the cover the car was soaking wet with no chance of drying out. Would rather leave it with no cover so at least it airs. Although I expect a more expensive cover would yield better results.
