Mk1 golf fuel pump basket / bracket

Hi

My fuel pump basket has completly rusted away is it only  crazy quiffs that sell them?

£50 is bit more than i want to spend

Personally ive never seen them advertised elsewhere, but ive not looked everywhere.

i'm sure i've seen similar on the bay of e's… have a sniff… what i can recall the price wasn't that much off CQ's..

Ive just bought a crazy quiff one, (not received it yet) I can remove my original one and see what condition its in. If its decent I could sell it if interested, say £20 plus post.

That would be great

Removed it, obviously been under a car for 30 odd years and would benefit from some rust converter and a coat of paint,  but it appears solid enough. Reckon I can post for £3.50.

I can throw the rubber part got minor rip in it but defo usable
