Good evening all.

I'm at a point with my golf (life) we're I'm having to accept im not going to be able to touch it for at least another 10 years time and deepdoqn feel someone else should bring it back to its former glory

I want to full on resto it and financially, I'm way off due to other priorities which I won't bore you with but kids are the main thing and it's either, slow my family life to fund it or get rid, or hold on to it.
I can't do both, it's just not possible

It's already been sat ten years and now is a bare shell.

What would you all do in these circumstances?
It's kind of a what's it worth post but I'm really stuck in what to do.

1982 gti
Bare shell (black) (rear panel removed)
Ignis fish net recaros
G60 wheels
Spare audi 80 wheels (from somewhere)
Full BBS body kit

That's the base of not, has anyone been in the position and cN give me some advice and insights in to where to go?!

Thanks all

I bought mine in 99 drove it home and then quite quickly started working on it. I've driven it less than 80miles, and just about all of the on the first afternoon! It sat in my mates workshop for 2-3 years then  in my mums since 2003. I brought it home this summer with the intentions of completing it but health issues still are holding me up for  getting working on it.
I think you need to have a good survey of the car and see how much work needs to be done, can you assign a small budget each year to have some work done or buy parts while they are available, or decide you don't really have the suitable dry space to keep on storing it, it likely won't last another 10 years if it's left outside, so you would be as well to take the sad step of posting some pictures and letting it go to someone who could save it, while now maximising what you'll get for it 58997F3F-AB18-4A53-B374-888989C43119.jpeg
This is mine first time in daylight since 2003, was only out for an hour or two!
