How to remove rear glass on convertible

If the plastic covers are still on the connectors for the rear glass demister.
Unclip them and pull the connectors off the tabs of the glass.
Use something to hold the tab in place as you pull. Otherwise you can end up pulling the whole thing off then it’s new glass time.

If you have the original rubber seal
Theres 2 holes to feed the connectors out from.
Once they are clear you can press the glass out.

Lay on back seat and drape a cloth over your foot and press the glass out using slow steady pressure.
Don’t just boot it lol.
Once it starts to go stop and remove it from the outside.
Sometimes the glass presses out first and leaves the seal in place so just work that off.

Then remove all the staples from the hood and opening.
You need to do it in this order so you can access the top fixings.

Rear window game is held in place by 2 plastic pins that go through the slots at the top of the frame.
You’ll need to have the opened enough to allow the webbing straps to come out far enough for you to manipulate to get the pins out.
I always squirt WD40 into the slots.
You’ll find that you can lift the rear bow up and allow the frame to drop lower giving more space.
You need to wiggle the straps a bit then push them back through the open end once they get moving use a pick or thin screw driver to pull out once the grey pin is visible push a pick into the end to help push the pin enough so you can grab it and pull it out.
Then slide the straps back out.
Undo the  4 10 mm bolts from the corners and lift frame out.

Press the glass out starting in one corner at the top I should say and there’s 2 holes either side for the heater wires.
