Golf Posters

At an early stage

Thought I'd do one or two Golf posters, at an early stage on the first one.

I'm using Adobe Illustrator so it's a vector drawing but won't be obviously vector, should quite photo like from a normal viewing distance. It's pen art, so you just use the pen tool and then sub divide an area (pathfinder divide) as much as you need and finally do flat fills, no gradients.  So a bit like a manual mesh. The exception on this one are that some of the decals and stickers I've created separately and used the distort tool to place them, just because they're too small/fiddly to do otherwise.

Depends how much you split things up it either looks like a vector illustration all the way up to something that looks almost photographic, like this that I did for a project.

Just doing it in the odd spare time so will take a while, some parts like the headlamps will be slow going.

Well, looking good so far.

I must admit to reading all the words and still being confused.

The individual words I understand, but when used in sentences like that I am completely lost.  O_o

I have some film and ink pens here from my Technical Drawing days at school, can't figure out how to vector them though………………..  :P

Those details were just for the few people who might be interested how I was going about it. You keep splitting areas up until you have enough detail then just fill them with colour. Front end's slow going but you get the idea.
