Golf GX

Hello all,
I am the proud owner of a silver 5 door GX. Unfortunately I do not know anything about this model. I don't know where it was in the range anything. So if anyone could enlighten me I would be more than happy! Many thanks 

I believe this 1983 model GX was a run out model but I not100% on this.

Now I've had a quick look on the net but all I've found is one for sale with a buy it now.

Yes GX was runout just before MK2 launched, a GL(?) 5dr with a number of "options" as standard to entice punters to buy instead of sitting on their hands and waiting until they could buy a MK2.

Think they were available in silver, grey and met green?

Just the same as the Campaign was a runout spec'd up GTI to keep sales up.

Hi I'm gx owner just bought one as project that needs putting back together I could really do with some pictures of fuse relay board as the previous removed them all god no why and mine running lumenition electronic ignition and could do with some pictures of wiring from coil to we're ever they go would be great help if any one can thanks you could send pictures to my email Kerryhill22@hotmail.com

I can't even remember the options (over the GL) - was it sunroof and metallic colours not available elsewhere eg the green?
