Filter box Carb Fitting

My 1.8 auto has had the Webber upgrade, unfortunately there is no way for me to fit the box filter as it was before(not that I know) it has a tendency to slip off the carb when being rev’d and the fixing bolt is also misaligned due to the Webber.
Have you guys a solution for this?

Hi mate I also have a 1990 1.8 auto clipper i put the Weber 32/34 dtml on and just replaced the whole airbox with a ramair direct filter been great for me £37 of ebay

you should have an adaptor bolted to the top of the carb which locates the airbox properly, then there is a Z shaped bracket bolted to the top of the carb and a funny shaped bolt which attaches through the old CO adjustment hole in the top of the airbox
