computer box, automatic choke and heavy on fuel

i bought this 1.4 fuelinjection golf. the car is very heavy on fuel im not sure if its because of the oil that is very thin but im changing it now, the previous computer box that was in the car ,the automatic choke did not work..  i bought a new one and all worked fine for about a week then the car started to idle low again and did not drive well. what can be the cause of the fuel and the pc box to cause the automatic choke to stop working??

Have you replaced your Primary Battery Negative to frame and frame to engine grounds yet?

Have you verified that all your ground points as the ECU case to Frame is good clean and shiny?

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

hi i have replaced everything.. i came across this other problem, my car has got this jerk but every time i have to scrape off this black stuff it looks like the rotor burns the distributor caps gold pins inside after i do this the car runs well..

i've checked around online but nothing works for the rest of the problems. the cars auto chock doesn't work anymore and i've been trying online to search for answers to what it could be.

when it comes to the fueling problem ive done a few thing for economy but doesn't work i get 64km on a R100 ,for me thats a bit to heavy for a 2009 model 1.4 fuel injected tena citi golf.  is there anything i can do about these problems

High Carbon tracking inside the distributor TARRY would indicate oil seepage, but black carbon indicates to me of issues with Timing, HV leads, Bad Cap, Rotor, Plugs.

Fouled Plugs or incorrect plugs can cause excessive back spark, as well as a bad manufactured Cap or Rotor as the distance is so great (thousandths) of an inch off that can cause the Spark to Jump creating more carbon, Moisture in the Cap(like a cracked cap)….  Proper Grounding is a Must.

Others will have probably better reasons on a 1.4
