Post

hi

I have some 15 x 6 wheels that came without tyres. Any one know what size tyres I can run please. They will be going on my caddy.

also with a tape measure they measure 7 inches across.   Is that right if they are 15x6 can't read the stamps on the back

cheers

I've always been partial to 195/45's (Toyo Proxys are widely available at a decent price). To measure width, you need to measure from the inside of the lip across to the other inner lip. If you're getting 7 inches from outer to outer, odds are it is 15x6.

Lots if tyre sites online that can give you a visual guide.

Are you lowered? What's the offset?

Tyres size question for alloys

Use 165/50-15

For 6J a good choice..

6J x15 BBS RA's came fitted with 185/55 or 195/50 I have had both, chose 195/50 recently as they are a bit cheaper and easier to get hold of.  Running on a 30mm suspension drop, not sure what the difference is between caddy & tin top, though.  Both these sizes keep the correct speedo readings.

I would choose 185/55 on a 6 inch rim, but that's me.

As it's a caddy you do with a bit more rubber on the back imo to fill the arches better.

205/50/15 on the back and either 195/50 or 185/55 on the front.

Will work nicely.
