1st mot for my golf since i owned it is coming up.  Current running 165 nankans on bbs 15 x 7 inch rims.   Never run stretched tyres before not sure how the mot centre will be?  Should I expect problems???

thanks J

I would recon you will as it's not a good practice to stretch the tyre as it can be dangerous but all depends on MOT center and how much they are stretched?

Yoda passed a few weeks ago (just before the new rules came in) but the MOT tester said they'd be fine. 0590C34B-7E65-4DC6-BE53-39C0EF703EA6.jpeg

Just an update really.  Car was noted under the new rules.  Passed with stretched tyres.  They just put a caveat in the mot doc saying unable to check how the tyre sits on the bead to cover themselves.

All good.
