Seats from cabriolet in 4dr ?

Can anyone tell me if the seat from a cabriolet will fit in a 4dr mk 1? I guess the front one will fit, but what about the rear seat ?

Yes to the Front and it will fold forward, an option that wasn't available on the original 4dr.  

The rear may fit as it is similar in size but it will not fold forward as it doesn't have the pivot points that the normal seat has, it isn't to say that you can carefully remove the cover and cushion on the cabby rear seat and adapt it to your current frame for the rear and the bottom.

The Cabriolet has the bolts on the tabs at the front, where my 81 had hinges so the seat and parcel shelf could fold forward.

My rear seat is also mounted in the side on hinges. So I will look around for a prober 4dr seat set.
