Rear brake calliper refurb

So have them apart and just doing some wire brush clean up.

Any know if it is possible or wise to remove the hand brake mechanism

I can remove the fixed piece easy but not sure about taking the bit thar moves off

Hmmmm, I seem to remember taking the levers off. Erm.

But I can't find any pictures of my refurb so I'm not 100% on that.

I’ve done worse. Haha

Did a test paint in black

Dot think red will loom that good. So black or grey to match the wheels. The powder coaters will dip them anyway so makes no difference me test painting them.

I polished the set that went on my Derby



Although it was treated with high temp clear it didn't last long You could take a page out of Porsches book and do them in the most hideaous colour you can find
