1. It's a Ford, and you can get them over here.
2. It's a Ford but it isn't a cosworth.
3. It's a FORD and yall have some crazy prices over there.

4. It's a Ford.
5. My Daddy used to say he wouldn't hit a dog in the rear with a Ford, the Pinto kind of proved him right.

Did you notice no engine pictures?  and what is up with that green one to the left, was it rebuilt by some one high on LSD, PCP, OXYcodone….

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

3D1783E9-1DBE-4C07-B616-F8F19484354B.jpeg It's simply not worth that. I was at a hill climb a couple of weeks ago and there was a one of a kind works built Ari Vatanan RS1700T.

It is currently valued at £250K.

There were thousands of RS2000 produced and is more likely in the £30-40k range. Still strong money but now what this chancer is asking for is my opinion.

Anyway as Brian says. It's a Ford, it's not the first ever hot hatch and not cool like us.

If you look closely I am sat inside 😊

I'll just sit quietly over here in the corner and throw a cover over my Escort hoping no one will notice it….. :ocf_emoticons__icon_eek:

Sister-in-law ran a MK1 Escort 3 dr as her daily driver back in the late 80s. If only she knew it would be the most valuable car she's ever owned……

Mk1 Estates and 4drs are slowly being dragged up with the crazy 2dr prices. I wouldn't mind an estate, but the 4dr shorter front door has me looking out of the B post!

Back in about 1999-2000, I worked for a large car bodyshop that had 100's of newish ex lease Fords in a huge yard, tucked away in the back corner was a bronze coloured mk1 escort 2dr 1100, it had sat there for a number of years but was really solid, I enquired about the car and found out it was owned by an employee.
I ended up paying £50 for this little gem but was told it had to be off the premises asap, sadly I had to get rid soon after cos I couldn't find a place to store it! Sold it for a measly £100.
One of the cars I really regret selling.

If we all thought of the ones we sold, didn't buy, or just missed we would all be knee deep in tears!

Truer words have not been spoken.

Very true, I'm happy with myself that i kept the best and the most original of all the cars I've owned…my mk1 Golf, 20 years I've had her now, admittedly most of them it's been stored in a lock up but it's kept the miles down.

During my yoof I changed cars almost monthly, plus if I had kept the ones I regret selling they would all of cost me a fortune in garage rent cos there'd be nothing left of them if they were left outside in all weathers.

I've just worked out it's probably around £7k in rent I've spent to keep the Golf in the lock up, considering I've had it valued at £18k for insurance purposes it's money well spent.
