Post

Hi,

CabrioAnna , Elv and Sharon and myself are going to give our Mk1's a run to Scotland from the 24th September to 29th September 2015.

The plan is as follows:
(1) Thursday travel to Glasgow, stay in hotel and night out.
(2) Friday travel to Inverness via Fort William. Book into a hotel for 3 nights. Have a chill out evening, meal etc.
(3) Saturday, Inverness to Ullapool and back.
(4) Sunday, Inverness to Achnasheen and then do the clockwise route around Applecross and Torridon Tour and back to Inverness.
(5) Monday, Inverness to Edinburgh, stay in hotel and night out.
(6) Tuesday, Edinburgh to home.

That adds up to about 1000 miles door to door.

We have now booked our hotels (per double room, per night):
24th Sept - Premier Inn Glasgow (G32 8YX) - £65
25th, 26th and 27th Sept - Premier Inn Inverness (IV2 3BW) - £107.33
28th Sept - Innkeepers Lodge, Edinburgh (EH12 8AX) - £69

Total - £456

All were booked through booking.com and no money is required until checkout of each hotel !!
All three have good car parking space.
If you want to join us on this trip then please let me know and get you hotel rooms reserved :-)

There is no deadline really, except that I will be booking up the hotels in early April, probably the second week and if I could get some committed people then I was going to try and get some discounted rates…

But you would be free to make your own arrangements and join us on the drive outs - which I am hoping a few of the Scottish club members will.

Cheers,
Ade

Could I get the Mk1 ready for this???…  hmmmm.

On a plus, I have family near inverness and I'm just outside edinburgh so I won't need hotels. If I'm ready I'll join you otherwise I may just meet up with you guys in Edinburgh. Be nice to put some names to faces!
