Trying to track down a fuel leak that's refusing to be found at the moment, took the fuel sender out and i think someone else has been in there trying to solve the same issue!

How on earth this didn't soak off in the tank i dont know!

Back in the day some of the locals used to buy a high mileage but tidy lookoing cars at auction A and drive to auction B stopping in a layby to adjust the mileage. On removing the instrument cluster there was a message " oh no not again...."

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

I had a similar issue and decided to remove the fuel tank. It turned out that one of vent hoses on the tank wasn't connected, meaning the fuel would leak out of the vent point and run down the tank onto the floor. I couldn't see the vent point whilst the tank was installed.

Hey, - I have tried everything and I think that's my next option as everything else is perfect so it's either something I can't get to with it on or a hole in the tank!

Fingers crossed for good weather on Sunday then I can drop the rear axle and slip it out.

Get unde there and brush the beam mount threads applying copious amounts of penetrating fluid. Shearing them off is a royal pain

Hey!

Thanks for the advice - lucky for me the beam was replaced as part of its rebuild a couple of years back so its quite new around there - if anything the bolts were a little too loose for my liking!
