Because I had an old bike looking just like that.
She was slick on the flat but up hill I had to stand up and push real hard hoping I didn't slip a gear!

Proof that the Bicycle was designed by a woman.
Only a woman would put a bar like that designed to emasculate a male rider.
Used to ride a Royce Union 4 speed track bike, it was totally fast…..best thing was when I bought it it had no brakes, and Lace up tires……. After the 4th pair of Tennis shoes worn out in less than a week, I placed brakes on it. My first try at Modding.
