where is your mark  1? Is it tucked away snugly or are you having to brave the elements with it?

I've only just taxed it today for the first time, and it's tucked up in the garage with my Mk1 Escort behind it. I'm desperate to get it out and polished properly.
I know which is a sunny day car and which is a snowy day car! (unfortunately my Ford wheels with the M&S tyres are in an inaccessible corner in front of the Golf)

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

mine is in pieces at my workshop but I am stuck at home as only have a rwd pickup on the road, although it would be fun to try I am not sure I would get off the drive. I have a mate who lives near lands end and he had a few issues getting home yesterday in his mk3

Hi, I've used mine in the snow , here in Sheffield we've got 4 or 5 inches. I find the Golf is better than my Audi in snow because of the narrower tyres .

I had the old roof down on Worthing seafront last Saturday. Don't think I'll be doing repeats today.

We went to a local Dubs meet last Sunday . A beautiful sunny day but freezing . The Wife wasn't impressed that we travelled both ways with the top down !

Golf in the snow

Snow started in Somerset, sent home early and the snow melting on the bonnet and freezing, don’t think I’ll be able to open it at the moment..

No sticking snow here on the Fylde peninsular but very cold and blowing a hoolie. Lots of salt on the roads, my new daily is covered in white salt stains and it only left the showroom yesterday and travelled 40 miles.

Yes I didn't want to take Golfus out on the salty lanes. You ll be keen to get that salt off your new jam jar.
