Golf cabrio tonneau fastening

Hi all. Just a quickie. What do you call the plastic cover in the corner of the rear quarter glass window. At the bottom. Sort of hides the join between window quarter panel and hood. Tonneau clips around it!

Thanks in advance

The cover is fitted by the following.
2 elastic straps that go to either a triangular cut out or press stud base on the plastic trims behind the rear seat back rest.
2 further straps have Velcro that goes under the parcel shelf.
There’s 2 hooks that go through the tabs on the rear of the hood.
Also press studs on the plastic trims on the outside.

Later cabbies that are power tops have a further stud on the plastic trim inside by the rear side windows.

This is to kill the power to the pump so you can’t operate the hood with the cover in place.

So there’s about 4 different covers depending on year and model.

Fitting

Open boot and locate the knob on the left hand side and pull it towards you.
This unlocks the rear set upright.

Go
Into the car and pull the rear seat release strap and lower the backrest.

Take the cover and drape it over the frame.
Locate the the hooks and slide into the tabs.

Pull the cover over the frame fully.
Attach the elastics and the Velcro straps. Then the press stud fixings.

On early ones there’s a row of press studs that go to corresponding bases on the parcel shelf edge.
The elastics have hooks instead of stud bases.

Note: early ones are no good on later frames as those sit higher out of the car.

Thanks.  That's them.  I have some brand new black ones for sale.  And a few other clipper bits.

Also what I have discovered over the years,  it that the Velcro tabs on the parcel shelf don't grab as good, and I almost lost the cover….

I used a snap fastener on the under side to hold the tab on the parcel shelf.
