That would tend to cushion the blow from the Cast Iron skillet to the head…..

Serious suggestion time:

How about a metal garage sign with the club logo on it?

I'd definately put one in my mancave.

I like the idea of the garage sign and in fact I'd thought about it before because a little shop right across the road from me would make them but this in Austria and they would be to expensive to be fare.

But what would concern me if I was back home with a garage is someone jimming the thing off my door.
So I guess you could always hang it on the wall inside, should look pretty cool either way!

Suggestions for new Club merchandise.  :)

For those of you who were members back in the summer of 2012 and have a fairly good memory you might recall these two of mine.

1. Mudflaps for both tin tops and Cabrios.
The Club logo nicely embossed in white and not just a plastic sticker.
They wouldn't be cheap but then who wants cheap, rhetorical.

2. Very good quality tailored over mats for again both tin tops and Cabrios.
Logo lower left corner measuring 3" in length and 2" wide. (Not much good for us LHD owners)
Colour options keep to just three. Red, white and Club blue (VW).

Actually I think this will be about the 4th or 5th time I've mentioned these two and they've always been pretty much ignored due to the following reasons.
1. To hard to source.
2. To expensive although I'm not sure we've ever really gone that far and checked.

I'm sure these if there're well made would sell but I admit that it would take a serious bit of effort to source but impossible, no!
I'd bet especially as this subject is always coming up on the forum but if we had 100 sets of our own mudflaps within six months we'd be ordering more.
Similar situation with the carpets!  ;)

You can tell I'm back.

I do remember the mud flap idea and I reckon that would be a winner. No idea about sourcing them but I would quite happily put in a provisional order for a set of each (cabby and tin top)
With reference to the mats I reckon it would be worthwhile getting hold of gav, (from this site) can't remember his full tag but I have had mats from him and I thought they were very good quality and the addition of the club logo should be relatively straightforward?
I am assuming he is still about?
