Anyone else been waiting ages for a delivery?

I order some oil, oil filter, wiper blades and car polish on 12th May, got an e-mail 15th saying it will be delayed by 1 - 2 days….. I'm still waiting….

30 minutes so far on the phone still on hold…

Is it just me or has anyone else had this problem?

An hour on the phone and finally got though to someone and they have to email customer services to chase the order and they will let me know…

Still not heard anything….

I'm going to Euro car parts local branch this weekend as they have the oil and filter in stock and I can collect it the same day…  O_o

I have had slow responses from a lot of companies when dealing with any kind of customer support/delays/returns.

In terms of delivery…
Royal Mail: a couple of lost items, some huge delays, and some fine.
Parcel Force: only had two, but both were next day.
DPD: seems okay.
Hermes: generally okay, if a little slow.
DHL: pretty much spot on
Amazon: 100% on time.

Not that I have been buying a lot of car bits

Whip
/wip/
Noun - Car

When the steering wheel was first put into use in automobiles, it was called the whip. The term has now been generalised to classify any automobile.
