Best Oil Grade?

Hi Guys, I've got a 1.6 8v Weber Carbbed engine with approx. 65000 on the clock, I say approx because I bought the engine separately, what oil would you suggest for it? Close to getting the beast fired up!

10w40 semi synthetic is what you want if in the UK.

Stuff VW would use if you took it to them….
