Worth upgrading

Currently in the process (4 weeks so far) of fitting a 4 branch to my car and as a result needed to remove the front ARB.

On inspection the bushes want renewing before I refit it so had to measure it and was fairly surprised to find it at just under a measly 17mm.

Im under the impression that the tintop wears thicker ARB's than the cabrio (although i dont know the exact size) so would it be worth the upgrade before refit?

I will be fitting an OMP lower strut brace as well (if it doesnt foul the gearbox) and the car doesn't get driven hard so would I be wasting my time.

The thicker the ARB, the more resistance hence the less body roll I'd imagine.

But if you don't drive it hard then there's little or no point I'd suggest.

I thought they were all the same from the factory tbh.

Does anyone know the standard ARB sizes at all.
Im keeping the original roll bar but will be fitting poly bushes after its been powder coated.

I've got the inners one which are 16mm split but I'm struggling to find outers.

Looking through ebay the sizes seem to range from 15mm to 24mm but none of them specifically say at which point they are meansured.

The bar tapers down and is then notched at each end to about 12mm
