I saw these on eBay and wondered if anyone had used them or had any views on them!

My underside and sills on the front of the car is out of shape due poor jacking in the past and I've been looking at ways to lift my car and get it on axle stands without damaging the underside. I normally jack the car on the round jacking points just behind the front wheels and put the axle stands under the wishbone mounts but I would like to replace my wishbones and bushes etc this winter so I need somewhere else to put the axle stands.

Just wondering what other people do when working under their Golf!

Well I actually have a few bits of wood with slots cut in them.

I place them on top of my jack, and jack.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

I forgot to add they are 4"X 4" blocks.
I use 2X10's 12's with a slice in the middle for my Engine Brace.

The different widths allow me to can't the engine differently when I am working on it.

Normally I just use my 2X12's, which I figure are now about 20 years old.  That 2" bar stock is grilled and fitted with gate u-bolts as it tightens down and locks it all in place once weight is on the bar.
