Anybody running Raised strut mounts???

Hi Guys,

I trying to make my own raised strut mounts, my plan is to use the Audi 90 top bearings and then make a tube and fit in into.

But my concern is that the spring from the coilover, will hit the tube when turning, I noticed the spring moved a little.

If I make the tube bigger in diameter inside, the audi strut bearing would not be stationary, and if I make the tube fit outer diameter of top bearing, the spring won't fit.

Is their anybody running something similar that could maybe measure the inner diameter of the tube??

Or any other input?
