There's a TN 07043 227317 but it's the sites premium privacy link to the advertisers genuine number… as the listing's no longer active the link may not be either, but you never know until you try.

But did they get £25,000?

Apart from public auctions that produce lists of hammer prices no one can tell what £ changes hands in private or stealer sales.

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

Did he get 25k?
Well I'd be surprised but I'm guessing we'll never know.
Not convinced that silver commands the highest prices.

But let's wait till next year and it comes up for sale again at 30k +  :ninja:

Just looked at the red one below with an asking price of 20k, still over priced and treble the mileage but all that history speaks volumes if I had more money then sense.

Yeah it's not a Campaign but some might see that as a bonus, less rust!

Gee, that is 5 times what I paid for a new 81 Diesel in 81… but as they say  a fool and his monies are soon parted.

I love the Placed in a Bubble, is that like a Giant Vacuum Bag…..

Besides do you think he bought it for that much?

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

The new owner will hopefully be finding his way over here soon

He contacted the club for some advice on the car - Yomp/Graham knew the car as a friend of his owned it.

Looking forward to Gordon's update on his new purchase

Sold within 2 weeks of being advertised. Low miles GTI's are just not out there for sale. A 205 GTI went for 38K at auction the other day. I have an insurance valuation certificate for my own low mile Campaign and its well in excess of what this car fetched and that was generated by 4 professional classic car experts
