2H Digifant Engine

Just a quick question, I’m currently running a 2H cylinder head with DX bottom end as my 2H bottom end packed in on me, since swapping it over I’ve had nothing but problems with it the Car cuts out on it’s own when it gets warm, it’s impossible to find a 2H engine is there any replacement engine that I could easily replace it with???

The 2H and DX bottom ends are the same, so unless the dx block is damaged in some way no need to find another.

first check is timing, then compression, make sure all the ignition components are good condition and quality make parts. then dig a bit deeper, its basically the same as a digifant PB engine:

Hi this is what happens once the car gets warm it's starting to make a right racket

got thru all of the above first before changing the engine

Problem is now solved, my timings was miles out thankfully a new garage called BTC VW specialists sorted that out for me
