Cheeky question. Could you take a close up picture of the number plate. I'm planning on getting some made up with Massingberd of Otley, so it would be great to have photo so I can try and identify the correct font and audi/vw logo's.

This sold for £8000. You got a great price there.

£8000…. There's a lot of work to get that car back on the  road.. probably another £8000 and will it be worth £16000 ???  

Did someone actually come and pay that much for it? 

I know what it is etc, but it's completely gone.

Way way more than 8k to get that good imo.

I'd be budgeting about 12-15, the amount of welding it'll need is huge, then it needs a decent paint job bare shell. Engine rebuild etc…. Hell you'd smash 2k on doing the interior alone.
