PVW Featured MK1

Im not sure im doing the right thing here but Ive decided to focus on the next project so the MK1 is for sale. Its made two shows since its debut in PVW in Aug 2008.

Most people will know the car and the work that ive done on it over the years but here is a link to the build thread where there is plenty of pics and detail on the cars build. http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=62135&hl=project%20504&st=0

Currently it's on STD suspension but i will fit coilovers before the sale. or knock off a few quid,  carbs have been set up but it needs done by a pro to get it 100%.

The list of work done is endless, ever nut and bolt was replace 99% of which were VAG parts, the panels used were all VAG, Underside, body and inside were all stripped back to the metal and all painted to the same std in 2008 (see build pics in my thread). If its not new its chromed or taken back to the metal and painted.

I spent 1000's on Chrome work…..axle, wishbones filler,  neck and most of the engine inc sump and loads of nuts, bolts and screws.

Interior cost me £5k to get done and comprises of a smoothed dash, Porsche Sport Seats removed from a 2004 911 GT3 (996) new door cards front and custom door cards in the rear all retrimemed in the bentley crema nappa leather. Headcloth was done in a techno suede which is only fount in new new Aston Martins and Jag XKR's

Wheels wise i have a few options, its on std steels at the moment and will be sold with these can supply some 15' RS if required at extra cost.

Engine is a 9a with KR cams, gas flowed and ported with twin webbers, Storm 4 branch stainless manifold and stainless full exhuast systems (cant remember the make tho )

This car has the potential to be one of the best, the resto is second to none it just need a few bits and bobs and some rims and youve got a show winner.

Im looking for £10k i will accept no less and no part ex….im out over £25k on it to date  so the price represents a good buy

since these pics its had a STD VW grill and it does have a bonnet

This is how it sat on the RS
