Hello
I have decided to sell my GTI reluctantly . It is one of the most original ones left . All original body panels , Mars red  paint , trim and alloys . Never been involved in an accident.
It has the 1780 DX engine . Mot'd till Oct 09 and Taxed
The only non original parts are a stainless exhaust (Which is not loud) and a stainless fuel filler neck and sun roof.

I am asking ?4000.00  with no offers as I know this is one of the best .

Owned for 10 years by myself , loads of papers.

Tried to sell what I think is a very rare original Mk1 GTI on here the other day for 3500 and had no inquiries, though nearly 500 people looked at site.
Have put it on www.carandclassic.com for ?2800 no offers if you are interested in buying.
As I said in add it is worth more to me than the money so I would rather hold on to it if someone can not give it a good home.
