cab roof wont close on 1 side.

i wonder if some one can help me?
when i close my cab roof on the drivers side it comes far enough foreward to clip the hooks in and the roof closes ok on that side.
on the passenger side its as though the roof isnt square and the hook when fully adjusted out can only just catch the metal plate and by the looks of it over the years its cut a grove in it and the metal plate that should go over the hook plate is going under it and its leaving a gap when closed. bit hard to explain.
any help would be greatfull as im pulling my hair out and id like to sort it out.

Not sure what it could be. Its a bit hard to visualise. Could you get some pics up?

Is it the whole roof out of alignment or a problem with the position of the handle?

If its ya frame thats knackered give me a shout as I have a spare frame in my shed!
