Won't fire on ignition please help

Hi everyone! Help needed pleases 
After a lot of faffing around with intermittent sparks ⚡️ I finally have one and now we move on to the next saga! 
I got the engine going after adjusting the timing and had the firing order wrong on the dizzy 🤐, now my problem is get the car to start from the key, if I squirt some petrol into the manifold she starts and runs all be it a bit lumpy but she goes and idles how ever I turn her off then try with the key and she won't start, obviously not ideal as I can't carry easy start round with me enertwhere I go, 
She is a jh engine caddy sport, I'm going to investigate the cold start valve and the metering head, but if there's anything that's stands out to people please let me know
