Low Compression Head off

Due to pretty low compression i am getting the head off and having the values and seats checked and re-lapped.
Can I ask please if you can recommend anything else that worth considering whilst the head is off? Might this be the chance to consider an upgraded Cam shaft?
any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.
Secondly, I have blown a fuse that knocked out my digital clock and interior light. Might anyone know which number fuse is likely to need replacing?

can i please ask is fuse 3, 10 or 15 rated? I swapped out the hela light for a new one and noticed the bulb was white hot despite being on for a matter of a few seconds, so thought i better check i have put the right fuse in.
