DX Cylinder head onto digifant engine

Post

Hi does anyone know if a mk1 GTI 1.8 cylinder head will fit a mk2 1.8 digifant engine?

Well I'm not sure but let's clarify one point, it's the fuel injection system that's 'Digifant' and not the engine. 👌
And it's the 'Digifant II' the 'I' was for the emission regs in California.

My Golf is a 1990 LHD but it has the Mk2 GTI lump and gearbox standard from the factory because I think they had nothing else to chuck in it! 🤔 👍🏼

Should bolt straight up, oil and waterways the same; assume your meaning a 1.8 PB block.

if you want to run a digi head on kjet you need to swap the injector inserts. from memory if your old ones dont fit, you can use the 1.8/2.0 16v kr/9a ones
