Acceleration delay and judder

i'm getting a serious judder when pulling away in first then a then a delay when in acceleration in first and second, any ideas?

hows your fuel pump? is it sounding noisy? :dontknow:

haven't checked the fuel pump, but i'm not getting any noise.

Sounds like a problem with the HT side of the ignition system,check plugs,leads cap and rotor arm.

Have you got a lack of power when you put the car under load but will idle fine.

I did with mine and it turned out to be the small filter inside the fuel pump which was clogged up, just a thought.

OK i had this problem the whole of last week, and it turned out it was that my mixture was wrong (fuel/air). once adjusted it worked fine.

However my car now will not start at all, so i'm thinking either ignition leads or fuel filter.. : /
