Oli pressure sensors

The seal on the sensor was leaking so i got it replaced but now the oil pressure light has started to flash, ive heared they make different valves for different mk1,s the guy in the shop didnt mention this just wondering if any you guys know ? Also just a random question but does the haynes manual which says only goes to j reg cover the k reg ?

Which sensor did you replace - down on the front, near the oil filter, or up on the gearbox end of the head?

What colour is the plastic section of the new sensor (blue or white)?

I think that the Haynes book covered your car - they just assumed that the last ones were J-registered, when in fact there are plenty of K's and I've seen at least one L-reg.
