Mk1 clipper running rough

I have a vw mk1 cab 1.8 ex engine  2e carb have changed plugs and leads dizzy and Rota arm checked all vac pipes and carb settings + mount all good checked for spark and is sparking fine and done a compression test all ok but still missing and stalling when reved seem intermittent can anyone shed any light or now a garage that now's these well near me ? Many thanks guys

might be rust in your tank clogging up the fuel system otherwise:
